Job Title: Assistant Supervisor- Special Assignment (Seasonal)

Job Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests visiting Kauffman Stadium. This includes training and supervising Special Assignment positions including premium area greeters, elevator/escalator attendants, premium area greeters, and other back and front of house area attendants.


Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Assist Special Assignment Supervisor in training and supervising Special Assignment associates
  • Assist Special Assignment Supervisor with all department personnel paperwork including disciplinary and payroll
  • Assist Special Assignment Supervisor with scheduling employees and approving payroll using ADP, when needed
  • Be prepared to listen to guests & help address any concerns they may have
  • Seek out opportunities to talk with guests & get to know season ticket members
  • Be “aggressively friendly” to all guests
  • Maintain a safe and guest-friendly environment and enforce company policies
  • Other duties as assigned


Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred
  • 5+ years Guest Service experience preferred
  • Experience with ADP
  • Able to work all home games, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
  • Able to work in high-pressure environment
  • Professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must be team-oriented, extremely outgoing, and motivated
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have availability on days, nights, weekends, and holidays



Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
  • Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
  • Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt opportunity that is not eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. The schedule for this position is dependent on our team schedule and is subject to change.
