Basic Function: Assist in the development and execution of programming that promotes the growth of youth and high school football, flag football, and coaching education.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute all aspects of the Houston Texans NFL FLAG program.
Coordinate the growth and development of Texans Flag League partnerships.
Assist with the development of female flag football programming.
Maintain elementary and middle school flag football database.
Coordinate and execute Texans FLAG-In-Schools initiative.
Execute annual NFL FLAG Regional event.
Maintain youth football equipment and other related promotional items.
Assist in implementing youth outreach plans to increase the overall youth football participation in the Houston/Greater Houston area.
Provide support for other Football Development programs such as high school, youth, and coach education as needed.
Assist with the maintenance of marketing vehicle and storage areas.
Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by reporting to Senior Football Development Manager.

Skills Required:

General knowledge of the objectives and rules of the game of American football.
Assist with duties and responsibilities related to budget allocation and resource expenditure.
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction to complete personal goals and as a team member to accomplish department goals.
Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software applications.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Previous events and/or youth programs experience preferred
