The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Clubβs brands include men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.
The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018) and Dash (2020) and is focused on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through the sport of soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience and diverse fan base in the city and state
Purpose
The Event Services Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical and tactical support to execute all events in our facilities successfully. The coordinator works closely with the Manager, Event Services, and Special Events team to ensure the seamless execution of events such as Dynamo & Dash matches, concerts, festivals, tournaments, and community and private events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Servers as a liaison between clients and stadium departments to successfully assist with the execution of all assigned events.
- Completes game day setups of locker rooms and additional event areas and maintains event equipment.
- Working alongside clients from start to finish.
- Implements facility rules, regulations and policies to clients and tenants.
- Compiles and communicates event requirements to stadium staff.
- Understands all aspects of event logistics and stadium operations to better communicate with stadium departments.
- Maintains and organizes event files and event expenses alongside the Manager, Event Services.
- Assists in all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the event services department as required.
- Attends and actively participates in appropriate planning and organization and attends planning meetings to support facility operations.
- Maintains positive rapport and forms strong client and tenant relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelorβs degree in related field β Highly Desired.
- 1-3 years of professional experience β Required.
- Previous experience at a sports/theatre/entertainment venue β Preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends and/or holidays & extended hours as required.
