General Summary:

This position reports to the Global Technology Operations Manager or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK. As a Senior IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the IT Service Delivery function at MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. You will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of best-in-class IT services and solutions to the company and its users.

General Responsibilities:

  • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  • Adhere to all IT, Health & Safety and wider business processes.
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Global Technology Operations Manager or their designee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st to 3rd line IT support to our global userbase whilst adhering to defined service delivery levels and policies.
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvements to the service delivery function.
  • Support and mentor other team members to achieve a best-in-class service delivery and set a standard to follow.
  • Support, monitor and assist in the administration and troubleshooting of IT services and solutions.
  • Ensure any reoccurring checks are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Manage and maintain licenses, contracts and renewals.
  • Ensure up to date documentation and accurate reporting as required.
  • Adhere to change control, information security, risk management and wider business processes and policies.
  • Support F1 specific hardware and software.

Education and Work Experience:

GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Further education such as BSc or MIS in an ICT related qualification required. Exposure to racing and international environments is preferred. Demonstrate strong computer skills, a keen interest in technology, and a passion to learn in the role.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Be extremely self-driven and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be reflective and continually seek to improve and enhance the teams service, platforms and processes.
  • Be able to thrive in a team environment, being ultra-dependable and a reliable team player.
  • A quick thinker, be a flexible and adaptive character with the ability to react and solve problems with speed and efficiency, sometimes under high pressure.

  • Must have excellent communication skills and be willing to continuously learn and improve themselves.

Equipment and Applications:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise level ITSM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise level endpoint management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft client environments.
  • Good understanding of end-user computer hardware troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server environments, Active Directory and Ethernet networking.

Work Environment Physical Demands:

An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including some weekends.

This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast- paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
