JOB SUMMARY:
This full-time internship will perform responsibilities to support effective and efficient operations of the Equipment department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage setting-up field for practice.
- Train on inventory management.
- Communicate necessary information on inventory levels.
- Assist the assistant equipment manager in maintaining equipment.
- Train on data collection for league mandated equipment tracking.
- Work assigned specific area to work on during season. Example: helmets, clothing, shoes, laundry, practice set-up.
- Become educated on full calendar year and how different times throughout the year require different areas of concentration.
- Train on ball preparation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
- Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours in a football environment.
- Ability to travel if needed.
