About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a high-energy Marketing Manager to oversee the day-to-day marketing operations and programs for Brand Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Lifecycle Marketing, Game Experience, Retail, and Warriors Basketball Academy. In this role, you will collaborate with the broader Marketing and Studio teams to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strategic campaign plans for Warriors brand initiatives (and department initiatives across the organization) to increase brand health, fan satisfaction, revenue and community engagement
  • Work closely with internal Marketing teams to align on content creation, media planning/implementation and continued promotional support through owned or paid media
  • Collaborate with internal Studio team on campaign development (i.e., brief writing, budget planning, production timelines, deliverables) and provide ongoing creative direction
  • Create appropriate marketing strategy, media plan, deliverables and activations to ensure client goals are met
  • Oversee master project timelines for deliverables, distribution of creative materials (i.e., review/approval/trafficking), promotional merchandise plans and related marketing materials
  • Drive cross-functional meetings to align on marketing initiatives - set agenda and expectations while encouraging participation and recapping next steps
  • Serve as a brand steward to promote the socialization and adoption of our brand guidelines, creative review, and ongoing refreshes
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration/Marketing/Advertising, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience within marketing or creative services, preferably within the sports/entertainment industry
  • Prior entertainment or sports marketing or account management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment

Time Commitment

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule as evenings and weekend work shifts may be required

Compensation

  • $89,000 - 94,000 + Bonus
