Job Summary:

The Amateur Hockey Coordinator is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining a range of ball hockey programming. The ideal candidate will play a key role in growing relationships between schools, families, students, teachers/educators, and other key community partners in South Florida.

Job Description/ Requirements:

Coordinate scheduling, registration, staffing, and logistics of ball hockey and fan development programs, including serving as the primary point of contact for participants.
Act as Lead Instructor for community ball hockey programming on evenings and weekends.
Establish and maintain relationships with schools, district personnel, community organizations and their administrators.
Work with both current and new community partners to develop strategies to grow the sport of Ball Hockey and Floorball.
Coordinate and run Ball Hockey/Floorball clinics for schools and community organizations.
Assist in oversight of the Panthers Kids Fan club using different marketing strategies including game day tabling.
Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in the business field or recreation management
Preferred 1 - 3 years of program and league management experience
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
Previous experience in organizing and coordinating sports programs, preferably in hockey.
Effective communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using software for scheduling, registration, and data management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is an exempt (salary) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
