Reporting organisationally to the Head of Content Production, FIFA Partnerships & Media the Manager, Content Liaison will be a key member of the FIFA26 Broadcast Operations & Services team, and work in close collaboration with the Content Production and Social Media teams at FIFA Zurich, and other key individuals responsible for being the in-country point of contact for Host country filming projects and delivering content plans to all relevant stakeholders.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Manager, Content Liaison for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
• Ensure all content creation and delivery for FIFA Club World Cup 25 (FCWC) and FIFA World Cup 26 (FWC) is clearly communicated and promoted to all stakeholders
• Liaise with FIFA team in Zurich around the creation and distribution of all future content. Report all developments to the Head of Content Production and work closely with all areas of the FIFA content team
• Liaise closely with the Director of Host City Management to ensure all FWC Host Cities are informed about and engaged with all filming projects
• Liaise with other FIFA departments in the Miami FWC office to ensure all stakeholders are informed of planning and that their individual content requirements are taken care of
• Potentially liaise with the North American Medial Rights Licensees (MRL) to coordinate the delivery of produced content, discuss long and short-form programming opportunities and social media packages and assets – to be done in conjunction with FIFA Zurich
• Investigate new North American based opportunities around potential long and short-form programming, branded content, social media and audio projects, including podcasts
• Cover content needs across different distribution surfaces
• Ensure contractual deliverables are successfully achieved and examine opportunities in the content sphere and help bring them to fruition
• A Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of higher education
• Familiarity with and confidence in maintaining production budgets
• Highly organized and proven to be cool-headed under pressure
• Minimum 10 years in the industry as a producer or production manager
• A strong background in sports television production or production management
• A knowledge of and participation in the North American Sports TV industry
• Fluent in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,) and planning software and online collaboration tools
