IPTV Tech Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the IPTV Tech is to support the programing and maintenance of the IPTV systems and will be responsible for ensuring the technology is appropriately managed between SMC and their event clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure proper programming and operation of the stadium IPTV System by:

  • Managing and scheduling of content for all stadium events (public and private) as well as Denver Broncos home games
  • Maintaining the equipment – scheduled and routine.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing any individual distribution equipment or system (DMPs and all related servers)
  • Working with the equipment vendors and manufacturers to update any hardware/software as specified in any service maintenance agreement.
  • Communicating any IPTV issues or system functionality to supervisor and sponsorship designee.


Adherence and commitment to Denver Broncos and SMC branding as demonstrated by:

  • Creation of graphics and video content for IPTV system and video displays
  • Loading, creating playlists and playing back content on IPTV and Videoboard for events (public and private) as well as Denver Broncos home games.

Remain current on the trends in industry by:

  • Viewing content created by others outside of the organization and outside of this industry.
  • Meeting with supervisor and managers to understand the latest in technological advances.
  • Edit video and graphical elements using Adobe Suite products.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Resume and Cover Letter
  • Degree or certification in Electronics, Graphic Design, Media Production, Broadcasting, Television/Film Production, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience working with IPTV systems.
  • 1 year experience in telecommunications, digital signage, live broadcast and/or audio/video technology and presentation.
  • Experience in graphic design and motion graphic production.
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Suite products (Premiere, Photoshop, and AfterEffects).
  • Knowledge of broadcast graphics technology platforms (Ross Xpression, Chyron or VizRT).
  • Experience with scoreboard and LED control systems.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Vision management software and related digital media players
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Attention to detail.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Broadcasting, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience working in professional sports or national/regional sports network.
  • At least 2 years of experience in telecommunications, digital signage, live broadcast and/or audio/video technology and presentation.
  • Basic understanding of IP design including TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security, DNS, LAN/VLAN environments as well as knowledge of hubs, routers, switches, and multimedia control equipment.
  • Knowledge of IPTV System operations and programming.
  • Experience operating a scissor lift.
  • Experience designing video content within a custom pixel space.
  • Experience working in HTML.
  • 2 years’ experience in graphic design and motion graphic production.
  • 2 years’ experience with Adobe Suite products (Premiere, Photoshop, and AfterEffects).
  • 1 Years’ Experience with broadcast graphics technology platforms (Ross Xpression, Chyron or VizRT).
  • Experience with scoreboard and LED control systems.
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication, business, problem solving and customer-service oriented skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, responsible, detail oriented and able to operate calmly under extreme pressure.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must work well in a collaborative environment and work as part of a team.
  • Extreme attention to detail



In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this Colorado position is $48,500-$54,100. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
