The Top Shelf:

The Manager, Project Management will manage the operational mandatories of each go-to-market plan, collaborating with and delegating work to team members throughout the organization. This role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end project management of marketing projects, from planning to execution and through wrap up. These projects will span all business stakeholders, requiring facilitation of effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Drive cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns and projects from start to finish
  • Ensure deliverables are on-time, within budget and meet project and business objectives
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, documents and resources, and budgets in accordance with project goals
  • Collaborate with marketing and project stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations and workflows
  • Mitigate risks through robust analysis and identification and implementation of solutions
  • Monitor project progress identify actionable plans for driving projects forward
  • Conduct comprehensive project wrap ups to review and analyze project success against KPIs, such as budget and timeline, as well as effectiveness of collaboration and communication
  • Identify areas for continuous optimization and improvement from project to project
  • Manage several projects at the same time, effectively balancing team members’ time and priorities
  • Implement programmatic models to ensure effectiveness across projects, from resourcing constraints to market needs and considerations
  • Stay current on industry trends and knowledge, identifying best practices and applying knowledge to enhance project methodologies
  • Supervise project coordinator(s) and ensure they are equipped for success through clear goals and priorities
  • Monitor and evaluate project management team performance

Player Stats and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5+ years of marketing experience that includes working across brand, digital, PR, creative and experiential projects
  • 3+ years of management experience, supervising project managers and coordinators
  • Experience in Sports, gaming, tech or other fast-paced environments strongly preferred
  • Previous experience managing end-to-end Marketing projects as lead Project Manager or similar required
  • Demonstrated ability to keep projects on track and within constraints, such as budget, timeline and scope
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable leading and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams and roles
  • Excellent project management skills, high attention to detail and ability to adapt to and overcome challenges in a dynamic environment 
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends due to nature of the business
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as ClickUp, Wrike, Asana or similar

The Team:

The Chicago Blackhawks started their journey as one of the NHL’s “Original Six” professional ice hockey teams in 1926. Members of the Central Division in the NHL’s Western Conference and six-time Stanley Cup Champions (1934, 1938, 1961, 2010, 2013, 2015), the team calls the United Center home.
