1. The Department

The Matchday Stewarding and Security Team have a vital role on ensuring the safety of all persons attending the venue in addition, enabling the operation to run smoothly providing customer satisfaction for those attending Villa Park ensuring that security protocols are maintained at high standards, creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all that visit Villa Park

2. The Role

We have a new opportunity for a Retail Loss Prevention Officer to join our Security and Matchday Safety team. This is a vital role to oversee the site security across the main Retail store maintaining security protocols in a busy environment. You will security patrol the store and act as a visual deterrent to shoplifters and security incidents. You will need to actively meet and greet customers and provide a professional first impression to those visiting the retail store.

You will be responsible for conducting internal investigations into stock loss, fraud and theft, and completing detailed incident reports and collating evidence that may be used to support criminal prosecution. You will also work closely with store associates, store managers and local police and crime hubs gathering intel on prolific shoplifters in the area.

3. The Person

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Loss prevention Officer role with the ability to resolve conflict and incidents as they arise .and be able to effectively manage and/or resolve difficult and challenging situations in a professional manner. You must hold a SIA Security Guard Licence and ensure that Club processes and protocols are followed to a high standard.

You will be a proactive, self-starter who acts with a high level of integrity and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ideally you will have excellent interpersonal skills and have a passion for customer service. You will also have the ability to build relationships with different audiences and hold strong verbal and written communication skills which are clear, concise, and accurate to internal/external stake holders and the general public.

The role will require you to work flexibly on matchdays, which will include evenings and weekends.
