PA to Women's Football Director - part time, 3 days per week

The FA are looking for an experienced, highly organised and pro-active PA to provide business and administrative support to the Women's Football Director.

This will be a part time role, of three days per week and can be based at either Wembley Stadium or St. George's Park.

What will you be doing?

  • Pro-active management of WFD diary, ensuring that their business is efficiently and effectively carried out. This includes:
    • Access to inbox; clearing out junk and flagging anything of high importance
    • Organising travel and accommodation requirements
    • Preparation of materials for meetings / briefings as necessary (papers or in person)
    • Management of meeting related files/papers/correspondence
  • Provide Secretariat duties to the Women's Football Board (5 meetings per season): setting meeting dates (online and in person), communicating with board members, preparing and distributing board packs, attending meetings, taking minutes and creating a positive working relationship with the Chair and board members.
  • Creating and supporting Cross Divisional Meetings quarterly (with Director leads) and monthly/6 weekly (Divisional leads) and supports any tracking of actions
  • Ad-hoc, light-touch / support for other members of the team as required
  • To handle WFD business expenses, process them in a timely manner and in accordance with FA Policy
  • Responsible for the collating and cascading communications as directed
  • Take responsibility, demonstrate efficiencies and ensure tasks are completed in a timely fashion
  • Handle requests and queries confidentially and appropriately
  • Prepares reports, presentations as necessary
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained
  • Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

  • Min 3 years experience in a PA role, supporting a Director or Senior Leader.
  • Experience of Board Secretariat duties, advanced minute taking skills and accurate typing skills
  • High levels of discretion; previous experience working with confidential information.
  • Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple and competing priorities at pace.
  • Demonstrates a pro-active approach.
  • Excellent organisational, presentation and communications skills with high attention to detail.
  • Works collaboratively and confident building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite; specifically Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.

Beneficial to have:

  • Interest in Football.
  • Experience of working in a sporting regulatory/governance/admin environment.

The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
