This role will provide strategic and service-minded accounting and finance support to the business and stadium functions to promote cross-functional collaboration, including the following responsibilities and opportunities:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for transactions related to the current stadium entity, including concessions revenue, merchandise revenue and assisting with non-Titans major event settlements.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for transactions related to the new stadium entity (that is set to open in 2027), including record keeping of personal seat license (PSL) sales, suite sales, and any other advance payment collections.
- Track new stadium monthly construction costs to ensure monthly draw allocations are calculated accurately and communicated timely to external parties.
- Perform cash flow and treasury management activities related to the new stadium entity.
- Prepare and provide required documentation to respond to financial audits performed by external auditors.
- Other duties to support management and the finance team as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
- 2-4 years of experience in an accounting-specific role, preferably in a corporate environment or with a public accounting firm
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication, and research skills required
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software tools, to include prior experience with sophisticated Excel-based analysis; NetSuite experience preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and great organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven problem solver with a track record of demonstrating continuous learning and development
- The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information
