Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute year-round, externally-facing club-hosted events and activities with key departments to meet organizational goals, such as Season Ticket Holder appreciation events, partner activations, watch parties, etc.
  • Manage matchday fan activation logistics in coordination with, and support of, the Manager of Stadium Programming.
  • Work with internal departments (Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, Community Relations, Ticketing) to organize successful events that reflect Club brand and values.
  • Suggest and implement innovative ideas based on the overall guest experience and strong knowledge of available campus venues to continue to challenge and evolve annual events.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for small to medium-scale club events, and manage each event from start-to-finish including load-in/load-out.
  • Lead the organization of team-level partner events and support larger partner programs throughout the year.
  • Process partner and suiteholder space usage requests, create event proposals, and coordinate needs with confirmed clients.
  • Process internal event requests and update campus calendars accordingly, alerting the Manager and Director of potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal events, managing events from start-to-finish.
  • Create planning documents such as run-of-shows, site maps, and staff overview sheets.
  • Track progress through internal documents, while sharing feedback and consistent updates with essential stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with regular vendors at the stadium including in-house caterers, dΓ©cor companies, A/V providers, etc.
  • Maintain calendar of downtown and area events that could impact the venue and event logistics. Communicate key dates and events with Special Events Department and essential stakeholders.
  • Support the rest of the Special Events Team in the planning and execution of major events.
  • Manage the matchday giveaway inventory and storage of activation assets.
  • Track event invoicing in associated budget spreadsheets and review with Manager and Finance Teams bi-weekly.
  • Oversee smaller-scale, and support large-scale, pre-match fan activations and operational needs for both CITY and CITY2 matchdays, including Plaza and Concourse vendors, activities, partner activations and talent.

Skills & Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess the following:

  • 2+ years of event experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events while managing time effectively.
  • Must be a self-starter and goal-driven with a passion for their work.
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Significant experience with creative thinking and a solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Strong professional communications and interpersonal skills when working with clients and internal groups to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays including matchdays.
  • Must be able to travel between office and stadium locations within the St. Louis metro area.
