POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a driven and experienced seller who excels in crafting partnerships that reflect our club's values and resonate with our fan base. This self-motivated revenue generator will spearhead innovative sales campaigns, driving lead generation, prospecting, cold-calling, and scheduling meetings with prospective clients, with efforts resulting in mutually beneficial and unique partnerships that enhance Sounders and Reign's mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Individually contribute as part of a Corporate Partnerships (CP) sales team responsible for generating new partnership revenue and exceeding annual revenue goals β all while upholding the department objective of maximizing partnership revenue in a sustainable manner that is in alignment with the clubβs values-led philosophy.
- Foster a vibrant sales culture focused on new partner acquisition through teamwork, a collaborative partnership-building process, and effective cross-functional communication.
- Achieve and exceed individual goals as part of a CP sales team aligned with overall annual club business objectives.
- Demonstrate a superior understanding of corporate partnership fundamentals such as category knowledge, prospecting, proposal development, inventory management, and activation.
- Prospect, develop, and close new partnership revenue in order to meet and exceed individual and department new revenue goals.
- Work collaboratively alongside the partnership marketing team to assist in developing and executing a meaningful activation plan that will exceed partner expectations.
- Work collaboratively alongside sales operations efforts to further improve partnership category knowledge, proposal development, inventory management, and technology deployment.
- Participate in interdepartmental collaboration efforts to identify, develop, and execute new partnership inventory for potential new and existing partners alike.
- Serve as an outstanding ambassador of Reign and Sounders in the Seattle community.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in corporate partnerships, sports/event marketing, agency, or media sales.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals that align to business objectives.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to ideate, develop, and execute plans, as well as assessing the long-term implications of current choices and decisions.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prioritize projects and responsibilities.
- Dynamic, approachable personality with demonstrated relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proactively communicate with partners, C-Level executives, and co-workers, to manage tight timelines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This is a hybrid position working from home and from the Performance Center and Clubhouse in Renton WA and matches at Lumen Field and Starfire as needed.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire.
- Must be able to facilitate own local travel.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Must be able to set up partner and match day promotional and event programs. Promotional setup often requires carrying moderate sized promotional materials or boxes, so employee must be able to lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $115,000 with commission and bonus opportunities. Base pay at time of offer will take into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, internal equity and market.
