Pay Range: $66,560 - $69,000 annually.

Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Position Overview

Sharks Sports and Entertainment (“SSE”) overall strategy declares that partnerships are the growth engine of the organization’s revenue. Unlike traditional sports partnerships which are anchored on brand visibility, often using reach and the number of eyeballs as measures of success, we build mutually beneficial authentic relationships built on shared objectives and values. In creating these purpose-driven partnerships, we help brands tell their story in unexpected and cost-effective ways.

Under the guidance of the Director of Partnership Sales, the Partnership Sales Coordinator will work with multiple areas of the organization to create partnership packages and presentations, develop creative ideas and thought starters, and support communications with prospects and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support in the creation of dynamic sales presentations that focus on key value points for both SSE and prospective partners.
  • Responsible for understanding and supporting the sales process/procedures of the Sharks partnerships team.
  • Support the ideation and development of unique partnership platforms and innovative campaigns, primarily for the Partnership Sales team.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of new and innovative go-to-market partnership sales initiatives.
  • Support the prospecting effort of finding and researching new global partners for Team Teal.
  • Support the management of a three-year partnership event schedule including Teal Inner Circle and Business Alliance events.
  • Support partner communication plan with a long-term goal of developing a more engaged community of partners.
  • Assist in upkeep and management of CRM system and internal SharePoint partnership pages.
  • Assist in providing new business reporting metrics to Global Partnership’s leadership team.
  • Help with Gameday event execution on an as needed basis.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field required or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years successful sales and/or service support background with a preference for experience at a sports and entertainment property, agency, or brand.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong work ethic and a collaborative team player who is proactive, driven, and works well on a team or independently.
  • Ability to establish effective and cooperative inter-departmental relations as well as relations with partners and prospects.
  • Ability to coordinate and juggle numerous priorities and projects and meet deadlines without sacrificing creative effectiveness.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator and is comfortable sharing ideas across functions, to different levels of the organization, and with partners. Aligned with our Pioneering Principles and in particular:

  • The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology and is digitally savvy. Experience with Microsoft Suite, a CRM system, ZoomInfo, SponsorUnited, DigiDeck, and other sales technology a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
  • Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
  • Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
