(Part-Time) Fan Experience Supervisor

Summary:
Fan Experience Supervisor will ensure that the fan experience staff have the appropriate knowledge and skills to always provide a safe and enjoyable environment for fans and staff. Supervising small teams of fan experience attendants, perform general administrative duties, and serve as the liaison between the fan experience staff and fan experience administrative department.

Required Qualifications:
ยท At least 2 years of related experience and/or training

ยท Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English. Spanish is a plus

ยท Proficient conflict resolution skills

ยท Availability to work ALL Timbers/Thorns matches in addition to other scheduled stadium events

ยท An outgoing and friendly engaging personality

ยท The ability to work independently and be flexible in all positions

ยท Must meet company-grooming and appearance standards

ยท Must pass a background check

ยท Weekend availability is essential!

Work Environment:
ยท Comfortable in heavy crowd traffic and high noise levels

ยท Willing to work in all types of weather, including rain, wind, and extreme heat and cold.

ยท Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8hrs)

ยท Regularly walk up and down cement steps

Responsibilities:
ยท Coach and train Fan Experience staff to consistently perform their responsibilities

ยท Serve as liaison between Fan Experience, administrative, and Security staff

ยท Attend all supervisor meetings and briefings

ยท Lead by example, implementing five-star service with all fan facing and staff interactions

ยท Help ensure contraband items do not enter the building

ยท Distribute hand-outs before, during or after the event as needed

ยท Monitoring designated area ensuring fan & staff conduct follows stadium policies.

ยท Perform crowd control functions during events as needed.

ยท Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team.

ยท Coordinating wheelchair escorts for special needs fans.

ยท Monitor parking lot and bike parking areas.

ยท Preform administrative tasks

o Produce end of event report

o Staff break rotations

o Distribute & collect staff radios

o Assist other supervisors when requested

ยท Preform all Fan Experience staff required tasks in addition to any requests from Fan Experience and/or Events administrative staff

ยท Perform other duties as assigned.

*Fan Experience supervisors are seasonal employees and are staffed on an โ€œas neededโ€ basis. Hours per week may vary due to the event schedule.
