As a Social Media Producer, you will be a key player in creating and inspiring compelling content across Man City Women’s social media channels, collaborating to achieve success within an inclusive and creative environment.

Based within the Media team, you will be part of a team of social media producers growing and engaging the City Women’s team fanbase. This position offers the opportunity to create content that reaches and entertains millions of fans across the globe.

You will be able to turn your hand to several editorial disciplines, be that creating compelling social copy, jumping on emerging trends, or cutting quick vertical videos for our audience.

Your Impact

1. Ensure Man City’s Women’s team social media output is regarded as best in class.

2. Create innovative digital content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter in order to engage and grow our Women’s team fanbase.

3. Manage the Man City women’s social media channels on a daily basis, providing compelling live match coverage

4. Track content analytics to drive performance and identify trends.

5. Interpret and develop creative briefs from the Media Leadership Team, and create detailed plans to execute those ideas.

  • Strong knowledge of a range of social media platforms and expertise using them
  • Passion for and knowledge of women’s football
  • High editorial standards and judgement
  • Video and photo editing skills
  • Brand and commercial awareness
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Community management knowledge
  • Media law knowledge
  • Resilience, experience of working in a high pressure publishing environment
  • Track record of creativity
  • Collaborative

  • Video presenting experience
  • Audio editing experience
