JOB DESCRIPTION

The LA Kings are seeking positive and enthusiastic individuals motivated to begin their careers in sports. Each Fan Service Associate is responsible for assisting the LA Kings Ticket Sales and Service/Community Relations and Kings Care Foundation staff with game day responsibilities, and supporting the departments with day-to-day needs in office. The Fan Service Associate position will begin in August and continue for the entire 2023-24 regular season ending in April. Post/off-season hours may be scheduled on a case-by-case basis as needed. Associates should be prepared for flexibility in their schedule with game day and office hours, and available to work night and weekend shifts. This is a part time, seasonal position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties include but are not limited to:

Executing game night responsibilities on behalf of and in conjunction with the Ticket Sales and Service department/Community Relations department and Kings Care Foundation at most, if not all, home games

  • Preparing game night areas, materials and auction items
  • Fulfilling pre- and in-game activations and experiences
  • Providing service support at Ticket Sales and Service and Kings Care Foundation concourse booths
  • Assisting with game night special events and needs, including those supporting other departments

Supporting the Ticket Sales and Service department/Community Relations department and Kings Care Foundation in office

  • Owning game night preparations and post-game duties
  • Organizing and maintaining storage areas and shared workspaces
  • Executing administrative duties, special projects and other assignments as necessary

Assisting in the preparation of and at all major LA Kings and Kings Care Foundation events

  • To potentially include: LA Kings 5K, Kings Care Foundation Golf Tournament, Taste of the South Bay, State of the Franchise, Meet the Players, Tip a King, Season Ticket Member events, community events, team autograph sessions and others

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities. Degree from a 4-year college preferred.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a client-facing, special events or administrative function is preferred, but not required.

Pay Scale: $17.00
