Manager, Ticketing Operations

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Manager, Ticketing Operations. This role will be responsible for managing the sales approach for men’s Premier League home and away games as well as Women’s games in all competitions, ensuring a best-in-class ticketing experience. You will be a key point of contact for ticketing matters. You will work closely with colleagues in the Ticketing Operations and Ticketing Systems teams, as well as other internal stakeholders to execute the club’s Ticketing Strategy.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage the ticket sales process for all men’s Premier League home fixtures, including the coordination of all Members Sales windows, ballot processes, relevant communications and data analysis
  • Manage the sales process for all women’s home and away fixtures in all competitions, including the coordination of all priority windows and sale periods
  • Coordinate the season ticket renewal and new sales processes for men’s and women’s season tickets
  • Responsible for inventory management for men’s and women’s season ticket renewals as well as men’s Premier League games and Women’s fixtures, ensuring all relevant requirements are met and ticket utilisation is maximised
  • Act as a key business and manifest owner for specific events (e.g. concerts, non-football events, Cup Finals) at both Anfield and third-party venues that require ticketing expertise and input
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all required support is in place to support the club’s ticketing approach
  • Liaise with other clubs and Venues when required to confirm allocations and any away ticket arrangements associated with the fixture
  • Manage any contractual ticket allocations and processes
  • Responsible for ensuring all ticketing content on club channels and ticketing pages is accurate, fit for purpose and provides a frictionless ticketing journey for supporters
  • Support the matchday operation from a ticketing perspective at home and away fixtures when required, including occasional travel to away European fixtures
  • Contribute to any Club initiatives or projects that require ticketing support
  • Liaise with the Supporter Services Management team and other internal stakeholders to investigate any escalated ticketing issues from that are impacting supporter experience
  • Liaise with the Finance Team to compete ticket reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies / issues

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have recent proven experience in a high-volume ticketing environment in the sports or entertainment industry with excellent industry knowledge, regarding ticketing and football. This role requires you to have strong stakeholder management and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. As this is a senior position in the Ticketing team, it is important you have strong leadership skills and can effectively delegate when required to ensure other team members know what is expected of them.

It is essential you have experience using SeatGeek and/or another relevant ticketing platform, experience using Fortress and/or another relevant access control system. You will be an advanced Microsoft application user and proficient with Excel and large quantities of data.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be Anfield stadium. This is a hybrid position; you must be able to travel to and from Anfield.
