General Description:
Clutch City Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Booking Manager! We're looking for an innovative individual to explore new opportunities and expand our impressive lineup. With Houston's diverse culture and status as a premier entertainment hub, you'll play a key role in attracting top concerts and tours.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Maintain Toyota Center’s current excellent business relationships with promoters, agents, and their associated acts and artist management.
- Primary liaison overseeing the arena master calendar. Maintain day-to-day calendar activity including placing/removing holds, distributing avails, tracking reports, etc.
- Develop new business relationships with promoters, producers, agents, artist management, and other talent purveyors to complement Toyota Center’s existing relationships and expand current business
- Maintain and build upon Toyota Center’s strong live-entertainment book of business at Toyota Center utilizing industry best practices and an innovative marketing approach
- Explore new live-event alternatives and drive quality, diversity and volume of entertainment and event activity at Toyota Center
- Assist with the booking, scheduling and marketing of events at Toyota Center, including concerts, family shows, sporting events, conventions, consumer/trade shows, and other related events
- Correspond with the Greater Houston Convention Visitor Bureau on potential events and conferences to include Toyota Center
- Maintain constant research and knowledge of current activities in the live-entertainment industry, including but not limited to concerts, family shows and sporting events
- Assist in creating a strategic booking strategy with the objective of generating new business and securing repeat business clients
- Identify strategic relationships in the live-entertainment industry
- Communicate regularly with appropriate internal staff regarding current and upcoming events and all necessary details for a successful event.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience in concert event management (arena, stadium or theatre)
- Must have the ability and willingness to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- BS/BA in a related field required.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, communicate with others.
- The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
- The employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needs.
- The employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
