The Role

We are looking for a MarTech Data Manager to support our journey to redefine the personalisation and automation strategy across the department, aiming to increase supporter engagement and underpin commercial growth.

In this new role within the Digital & Insight team, you will be dedicated to managing the Supporter Data Platform (SDP) and data integration with downstream MarTech. You will enable multichannel supporter journeys and personalised digital experiences, contributing as an important component in the future and on-going evolution of technology and approach we take to deliver unique support experiences.

You’ll join a passionate team delivering Arsenal’s multi-channel campaigns, and consistent personalised experiences across digital touch points. Bringing supporter data together to help achieve our strategic goals.

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Your day-to-day

  • Champion data - you will be an advocate for a data led approach, putting data front of mind when making decisions. Delivering crucial data integrations and flows between the SDP and downstream MarTech platforms
  • Technical expert - you’ll be the central point of contact, closing the gap between technical and non-technical teams, addressing queries and increasing understanding of our data with support from internal technical stakeholders and 3rd parties
  • Support Commercial strategy - you will drive our Personalisation and Automation strategy through determining best practice and supporter decisioning, combining diverse data sources to create a stable and rich view of supporters
  • Best in class Supporter Data Platform - you’ll manage our SDP, creating and maintaining models to ensure quality and integrity of data alongside 3rd party suppliers to enable omni-channel communications and personalised supporter experiences

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a data leading setting - you will have an expert understanding of data implementing strategies and structures, architecture, integrity & governance (understanding of SQL, Python, or PySpark coding languages desirable)
  • Stakeholder management - you’ll have excellent ability to effectively communicate and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills - you will demonstrate critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders
  • Drive for data development - you’ll strive for continuous improvement, questioning existing practices showing passion for data development and data education across a complex organisation
