The 1st Team Analysis Intern will assist the Head of Performance Analysis with the daily duties involved with the FC Dallas first team.

This internship will allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports and entertainment industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required.

What You’ll Do:

Pre training:

  • Assist video analysis staff with setting up and preparing to record prior to training session.

During Training:

  • Record all 1st Team Training sessions by operating a drone.

Post training:

  • Manage video equipment.
  • Download video clips and organize them with communication with the Head of Performance Analysis.
  • Edit specific clips and assist the video analysis team in coding and labelling trainings, matches, and more.
  • Assist in opposition scouting video analysis.
  • All other duties as assigned.

You Are:

  • A friendly, upbeat student wanting to work within the sports industry
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about soccer.
  • Able to take initiative and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment
  • Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on match schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record and access to your own vehicle.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Major League Soccer and FC Dallas.
