Reporting organizationally to the Senior Manager, Accreditation Documentation & Training Operations, the Coordinator, Accreditation Administration & Software Tools will be a key member key member of the FIFA26 Accreditation team, work in a very diverse Accreditation department and in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Accreditation department responsible for delivering the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ and FIFA World Cup 2026™ Accreditation operations.
THE POSITION
The main responsibilities of the Coordinator, Accreditation Administration & Software Tools for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Work across multiple Accreditation Department workstreams to assist staff on technology-related tasks and projects on an as-needed basis, prioritizing tasks aligned with the urgency of the specific deliverables and associated deadlines.
- Support the department in developing general accreditation information and documentation for various audiences including, but not limited to, management, tournament time staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Technical writing, editing, graphic design (where necessary), and publishing, assisting in the development of accreditation conceptual documents, policies and procedures, and instructional manuals/guidelines.
- Assist with the development and delivery of accreditation training materials across different media – presentations, instructional videos, train-the-trainer sessions etc.
- Support the department in communicating with internal and external client groups and individuals on accreditation system processes and device training sessions for core users.
- Candidate must be comfortable with extended working hours, particularly during the lead up to, and during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ and FIFA World Cup 2026™ tournament time periods.
- In addition, candidate must be comfortable with the possibility of temporary relocation to a host city to support tournament headquarter operations.
Tournament time duties during accreditation operational periods may evolve as needed:
- Support the centralised issue resolution processes for the Accreditation client groups across all countries during tournament time or during operational periods for any ancillary events.
- Assist with the background check process for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and any ancillary events where such process is in operation, as needed.
- Assist with central operations duties, as needed.
- Support all Accreditation Department workstreams to execute smooth operations.
YOUR PROFILE
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- If experience is compensating, lower degree is welcome to apply.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Absolute high-level attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Work Experience
- Preferred one or more years of experience in event accreditation.
- Experience working with a variety of business software and graphic design tools e.g. Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Miro, Asana, and other relevant tools.
- Experience working with e-learning or learning management systems (LMS) is an asset.
- Video editing and production experience is an asset.
- Technical writing and editing experience.
- Experience handling high volumes of sensitive data and working in/managing databases; familiarity with accreditation systems is an asset.
- High level of comfort in teaching others to utilize software tools and educating others on processes.
- Experience in working across different time zones to achieve project timelines.
- Experience in and being comfortable with working in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural team as well as communicating within a multi-cultural organization.
Languages
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Spanish and/or French proficiency is an asset.
Technology
- High level of proficiency and ability to execute in MS Office/365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in drafting/design software (Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD,.etc.), planning software (Monday.com, etc.), and online collaboration tools.
- Hands-on experience and comfort with various database technologies.
- Familiarity in event management applications, particular experience working with Event Accreditation Systems is an asset.
