JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Corporate Partnership team with emphasize on activations and events, working Stars home games, conducting business research and creating unique ways to increase partnership value, assist with Frisco Fighters sponsorship needs, or other miscellaneous tasks at the sole discretion of Corporate Partnerships department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Obtain and archive asset documentation and partner records for proof of performance
- Attend and execute various partnership activation and hospitality duties at all Stars home games
- Attend and work various duties at Stars Corporate Partnerships & Foundation events
- Craft proposal and recap presentations for potential and current partnerships
- Monitor sponsored content on social media and web channels
- Research growing industry categories to generate sales leads and identify new business
- Partner hospitality assistance
- Serve as on-site point of contact for partner activations on PNC Plaza during all Stars home games
- Research other teamβs assets and new partnerships through SponsorUnited
- Maintain awareness of sponsorship/market trends and knowledge relative to Dallas Stars Corporate Partners as well as competitors that are activating within other markets and/or professional leagues
- Responsible for the management of the Partner Activation Calendar
- Become fluent in partnership systems such as SponsorUnited, Trajektory, Nielsen, YouGov, KORE
- Assist Activation team with execution of media assets on Victory+
- Act as an extension of the Frisco Fighters sponsorship team when applicable during season preparation and at games or other events
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available nights and weekends throughout the internship term
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Photoshop with experience in creative design
- Appropriate time and project management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Power Point, & Excel
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- The steps of the partnership sales cycle
- Ownership from start to finish of season long projects
- How to fully execute various partnership activations
- How to use partnership systems such as, SponsorUnited, Trajektory, Nielsen, YouGov, KORE
- How to assist with lead generation, proposal decks, recap presentations
- Interact with partners in the office, and at partnership supported events
- How to produce an impactful partnership agreement based on partner brand objectives and goals

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25/40/50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is exposed to an arena environment, with noise levels usually quite loud. The employee is exposed to an office environment, with noise levels usually moderate.
