Position based in: Concacaf Headquarters, Miami

We are The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, one of six continental confederations of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). Concacaf serves as the governing body of football in this part of the world. POSITION PURPOSE:
The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Confederation’s brands and image, including the brand integration and application as part of advertising campaigns, fan facing activities and corporate events. This role also develops and manages the sports/multicultural marketing and promotions campaigns that support brand building and commercial initiatives for all Concacaf’s properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports the organization on the development of brand building plans for the Concacaf brand portfolio.
  • Safeguards the Confederation’s brands.
  • Manages the day-to-day relationship with several creative and event agencies to ensure the proper execution of projects.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors the approval process for all brand elements across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leads branding in high profile events, including but not limited to live draw events, award ceremonies, galas, etc.
  • Creates and assesses brands health reports and marketing intelligence. Ensures the strategic goals of each brand are achieved.
  • Supports the organization on the development of strategic brand campaigns that support the promotional goals of the Confederation.
  • Work with other departments to ensure that all public facing materials align with the Confederation’s brand strategy and standards.
  • Leads the management of special projects: Opening & closing ceremonies, live TV events, corporate events, branding projects, among others.
  • Works with other department teams to promote the Concacaf’s brands for Men’s and Women’s Clubs and National Competitions.
  • Manages department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and compliance with financial goals.
  • Supports the creation and analysis of high-level RFPs for Brand Marketing
  • Works on multiple national and regional meetings simultaneously.
  • Prepares and reviews some contractual terms and conditions.
  • Ensures compliance with Concacaf policies and processes.
  • Supports the Head of Brand Marketing with other activities and tasks as assigned.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • +5 years of relevant experience in related positions in Brand Management.
  • Experience in Sports Marketing and/or related field a plus.
  • Solid brand experience in developing, managing and/or building an organization’s image.
  • Proven experience overseeing consumer marketing campaigns including live event production and agency management.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who can enhance unique marketing opportunities, while succeeding in dealing with challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Ideal candidate is bilingual (English/French or Spanish)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
  • Sense of urgency, able to identify and articulate issues, offer solutions and follow-through to resolution.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Acute attention to details and commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to solve issues in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to manage high-visibility projects and work with tight schedules.
  • Candidate must have the flexibility to travel nationally and internationally for the performance of his/her duties. Approximately travel requirement: 30%

Due to the cyclical nature of the sports and entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules including game nights to reflect the business needs of the company.
