As the department leader for premium food and beverage operations, this position will be responsible for assisting the Vice President of Food and Beverage in achieving annual sales and profits in overall operation, while exceeding guests’ expectations through strong leadership and management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Premium Food and Beverage areas.
- Collaborate with Culinary on implementation of new menus and food/beverage trends for restaurants, catering, and suites.
- Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service.
- Ensures show quality standards are always maintained.
- Create BEOs using Caterease software.
- Understand Bypass software to run and use POS efficiently.
- Forecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targets and process employee time, tips, commissions as needed.
- Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members.
- Prepare reports on a timely basis for financial review.
- Monitor inventory and supplies needed for day-to-day operations and arena events, along with end of month/year cost of goods.
- Establish a relationship and work well with vendors to offer the best products and services to enhance the client’s experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, clients, and guests, to ensure suite holders and catering clients are provided exceptional experience.
- Interview, hire, train, and develop team members.
- Produce accurate administrative documentation as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality management, with a focus on suites operations.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) system functions and procedures.
- Ability to be flexible and problem solve.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
- Strong written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and analyze reports.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs as needed.
- Must be dependable, flexible and a reliable team player who can prioritize building interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
