The Buffalo Bills are seeking a Writing Seasonal Associate to join our Content and Marketing Department. As a writer, you will work with the rest of the digital team to cover the Bills season starting during training camp and ending at the following season’s NFL Draft. This is not media/broadcast/social/production position.

Responsibilities:

Cover and report on the Bills football season – practice, press conferences, games and more
Assist our Marketing and Community Relations team by telling stories about our player involved community initiatives
Report on day-to-day newsworthy items
Write feature stories that showcase the team’s success on and off the field
Be involved in the collaborative process to tell the stories of the team
Transcribe player and coach interviews

Qualifications:

AP Style writing
Previous experience writing in the sports industry
General football knowledge, with an aptitude to learn more
Must be able to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the team’s schedule during the season
Must be willing to re-locate if necessary – this job is in-person and requires being at the team facilities almost every day
Team player with the ability to put the organization’s goals first

Requirements:

Remaining in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Working in outdoor elements that include high temperatures, low temperatures, wind, rain, and snow
Working in a noisy environment
Fully in-person in our Orchard Park, NY offices
recent college graduate

The salary for this position is $17.00/hour. This position is expected to start in July 2025 and end in April 2026.
