We have opportunities to be part of the Aerodynamics Team in the role of Graduate Aerothermal Engineer.


The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:


  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of 3D CAD and aerothermal dynamics
  • Possess a thorough understanding of thermal modelling, simulation and analysis
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of external aerodynamics, materials and mechanical design
  • A good engineering degree in the area, with relevant experience outside of formula 1 appreciated
  • Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed
  • To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment
  • Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues
  • To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
  • Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills
  • Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety


The key responsibilities of this role are:


  • Together with the Lead Thermal Engineer, to conceive, design, develop, analyse and optimise innovative thermal solutions to improve car performance
  • To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required
  • To work proactively, responsibly and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure
  • To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of aerothermodynamics
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role
