As an Associate Manager for Youth Sports Enablement at Spurs Sports Academy, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and execution of our programming. You will collaborate with program managers, internal departments, and external partners to identify and address gaps in our sales and service processes and develop comprehensive strategies to optimize our offerings. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that drive participation, enhance engagement, and maximize the impact of our youth sports initiatives.

In this role, you will manage a team of coordinators, guiding them in the execution of strategic plans and ensuring that all projects align with our overarching goals. You will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of these programs, analyzing ROI, and utilizing feedback to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You should possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for youth sports, innovation, and a customer-centric mindset is essential.



What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and refine strategic plans for youth sports programming to align with long-term goals. Oversee the execution by managing coordinators and team members, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within scope and budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new initiatives and programming opportunities and lead the annual planning process. Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues as they arise.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and report the performance of youth sports programs by using and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). Regularly analyze program data to measure community impact and return on investment (ROI) and identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management. Recommend adjustments to the strategy as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Establish and foster strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, and community organizations. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders participating in youth sports initiatives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure agreement and backing for program objectives.
  • Program Registration & Communication Management: Efficiently manage youth sports program registration by continually evaluating all aspects to ensure capacity enrollment and maintain a waitlist of qualified applicants. Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adhere to timelines. Develop and implement clear communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and proactively provide status updates throughout the process.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • 2-3 years of customer service, business development, youth sports or community engagement experience including one year in a leadership role. Two years of additional experience may substitute for leadership experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support multiple high-level positions.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong teamwork aptitude required.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Strong good oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to travel/spend time in office 50% of time.
