As Manager, Human Resources, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining an inclusive, engaging workplace where every team member can thrive.

What You'll Do…

Talent Management & Onboarding

  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies to attract diverse, high-caliber talent
  • Partner with Golden 1 Center arena leadership to enhance and implement training programs
  • Design and optimize onboarding processes specific to arena operations and event staff
  • Create and maintain comprehensive onboarding materials and training documentation
  • Partner with leaders to identify staffing needs and develop talent pipelines
  • Design and implement programs that strengthen our organizational culture and values
  • Create and maintain feedback channels that encourage open communication
  • Utilize Workday data and analytics to measure effectiveness and evaluate trends

Labor & Employee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters
  • Lead complex workplace investigations with thoroughness and impartiality
  • Manage labor relations for collective bargaining unit employees
  • Provide expert guidance to managers on coaching and progressive discipline
  • Develop action plans to address employee concerns and improve outcomes

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California-specific employment laws
  • Maintain accurate employee data and reporting in Workday
  • Partner with leadership on organizational design and change management
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures

What You'll Bring…

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (preferably Workday) and Microsoft 365 suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience developing and facilitating training programs
  • Track record of creating effective onboarding processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
  • Experience in 24/7 operations or event-based industries
  • Background in sports and entertainment

Work Schedule

  • Regular evening, weekend, and holiday availability
  • Flexibility to adjust hours based on business needs and event schedules

Compensation:

The offer range for this full-time, exempt role is $75,000 - $95,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:

Important Note:
