The Purpose:

Working with the Outreach Manager in Northern Ireland (NI), the main purpose of the role is deliver and co-ordinate events, programs and residentials/trips working with a number of partners in the North West.

A key objective will be to support delivery of the International Fund for Ireland program. Assisting the Outreach Manager and staff to fulfil and surpass the KPI’s contained within the contract. This will require strategic planning, effective safeguarding, quality assurance, event planning and coordination, health & safety and risk management practices, supporting in delivery and continuous monitoring & evaluation.

The Role:

  • Working within the Outreach Manager to deliver contract KPIs.
  • Directly support Delivery Officers on a day-to-day basis. Conducting quality assurance reviews and the setting of session objectives and realistic deadlines.
  • Build strong working relationships with High School Partnership Officers, High School Partnership Management Team, SLT members and steering groups within each of the schools to ensure that all KPI’s and objectives are being met and- surpassed.

The Person:

  • Experience of managing partnerships, demonstrating a passion for innovation, creativity and excellence.
  • Proven ability of engaging with a range of stakeholders and external partners in order to achieve strategic and contractual objectives.
  • Events management and coordination.
  • Quality Assurance experience.
  • Staff wellbeing support experience
  • Experience of scoping, delivering, monitoring and evaluating a range of activities, events and programmes for young people and hard to reach groups.

The Principal Accountabilities:

  • Support the Senior Coordinator in the management and development of new and existing internal and external partnerships relating to the International Fund for Ireland.
  • Provide operational support and advice to other divisions in the Foundation for the safe delivery of programmes, events, activities associated with the department.
  • Plan and lead regular steering group meetings with delivery officers to track progress towards KPI’s.
  • Support meetings with key partnership stakeholders both internal and external to ensure agreed contractual obligations and objectives remain relevant and on track.
  • Develop and manage effective working relationships with delivery staff and key stakeholders within the partner high schools, local community groups and organisations.
  • Work with the management team to innovate, manage, monitor and evaluate programs from the Life Skills Department. Ensure that all delivery programs and events remain relevant, unique and aligned to the strategic vision of the Foundation and the partner school department.
  • As directed by the Outreach manager, attend CPD, networking events and exhibitions relevant to the role, proactively using the information and learning to influence current and future partnerships and delivery programmes, events, and activities
