Role Purpose
Due to business growth, we’re looking for an experienced leader with knowledge and experience of the sports industry in China to manage our City Football Schools (CFS) Pay to Play Program based in Shenzhen.
You’ll ensure the highest quality coaching takes place at every CFS session, meeting revenue and profitability targets in line with the group’s annual business plan, whilst supporting growth across the Chinese market.

Your Impact
1. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Shenzhen program, managing a specialist team to oversee all elements including planning, operations, registrations, logistics, safeguarding, delivery, quality control, reporting and evaluation.
2. Launch the first City Football School in Shenzhen and identify and implement strategic growth opportunities to increase revenue and profitability and add value to existing customers.
3. Manage the City Football School Shenzhen P&L, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met and ideally exceeded.
4. Support the Football Education Leaderships Team with identifying new locations within China to expand the Football Schools program
5. Oversee football delivery and quality assurance for the Shenzhen programs in line with City Football Group coaching, playing philosophy and methodology, and overall operations guidelines. Working with global coaching leads to continually assess and develop the methodology ensuring fit for Shenzhen operations.
6. Manage and build relationships with external stakeholders including local clubs, venues, governing bodies, and local councils.
7. Work closely with key internal stakeholders within the region to support the management, development, and quality of all programs (Finance, Digital, FRM, marketing, comms, legal, city TV, Data Insights).
8. Work closely with other members of the Football Education team to ensure the program is delivered in line with knowledge sharing & best practice. Provide advice and support as required for other relevant FE&R projects.
9. Comply with Shenzhen Peng city FC and City Football Group Policies, including health and safety and safeguarding.
