We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team in our PL Primary Stars department as a STEM Coordinator. In this role you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and educational STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programmes to primary and secondary school students.
Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and Liverpool football club to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have recent proven experience working in a school setting delivering STEM content/curriculum, as well as experience creating and developing curriculum content. You’ll have experience in designing and delivering engaging educational programmes for students and be familiar with curriculum development and integration of STEM concepts in education. You will hold a teaching certification or experience in primary or secondary education.
You’ll be able to showcase a strong knowledge and understanding of STEM subjects, systems and their practical applications. You will be able to maintain skills in behaviour management techniques. It is important you have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and can work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The right candidate will have a passion for football and an understanding of its potential to inspire and motivate young people. As well as, able to demonstrate commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and promoting opportunities for underrepresented groups

This is a Fixed-Term Contract opportunity for a period of 12 months, working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7-day basis with some weekend work required. Your main base Anfield Sports and Community Centre, Liverpool however the post holder will also be required to work from other locations across Merseyside from time to time and be willing to travel within England and Wales.
