Position Overview:

As a Retail Events Sales Associate (Part-Time), you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for customers at stadium events, Raiders game days, pop-up locations, and other off-site events. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in large crowds, standing for long periods, and managing physical tasks like lifting products. If you are a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong focus on customer service and efficiency, this role is for you!

On non-event days, you will assist with event preparation. During events, you will be responsible for engaging with attendees, providing product information, processing sales, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event experience. This role requires not only excellent customer service skills but also efficiency in managing tasks under pressure. You must be able to quickly set up, sell products, and assist customers while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be expected to meet sales goals, handle transactions efficiently, and resolve any customer inquiries promptly.

Availability Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement, fully available 3 weekdays + Saturday and Sunday if an event is scheduled.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours on available days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Accurately process customer transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including purchases, returns, and exchanges.
  • Actively engage with customers to promote sales, upsell products, and meet sales goals.
  • Provide a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, answering questions, offering product recommendations, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work effectively with others to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth operations.
  • Must follow all safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization.
  • Assist with inventory counts, receive and unpack merchandise shipments, and set locations.
  • Restock merchandise, organize product displays, and assist with visual merchandising to maintain an appealing layout.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure efficient operation and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales and customer service experience, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capable of working well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or move around for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours).
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead as needed to restock or organize merchandise.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions (e.g., hot, cold, rain, indoors, outdoors).
