JOB SUMMARY

PS&E is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the NBA Math Hoops program. Reporting to the Social Impact Director, this role will work closely with key stakeholders including PS&E, program partners, and external clients. A successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for education and youth development. The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program's success by coordinating logistics, managing relationships, and providing administrative support.

Key responsibilities will include coordinating program events and workshops, managing program communications, tracking participant data, and providing regular program updates. An ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have excellent problem-solving skills. A strong understanding of the Pacers Foundation mission and a commitment to the NBA Math Hoops program's mission is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the Social Impact Director, execute the day-to-day operations of the NBA Math Hoops program.
  • Manage communications between Pacers Sports & Entertainment, program partners (schools & youth serving nonprofits), and vendor (Learn Fresh).
  • Meet yearly enrollment goals set by the Pacers Foundation for educators, youth serving workers, and students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, education leaders, and youth serving non-profit organizations across Indiana.
  • Serve as lead trainer and facilitate all NBA Math Hoops training for educators and youth serving workers.
  • Help plan and execute NBA Math Hoops events, including coach training, professional development, STEAM experiences, Lilly Day of Service, NBA Math Hoops LIVE events, classroom tournaments, and annual regional tournament.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of NBA Math Hoops, including collecting data, preparing reports, and communicating the results.
  • Provide technical assistance, guidance, and support to program partners, including organizing workshops, webinars, site visits, and peer learning opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in STEAM education.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of the program budget and work plan.
  • Support the Social Impact Director with completing interim and annual reports for funder (Lilly Foundation).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, event management, sports management or related field required.
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in program coordination, administration, or project management required.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead others and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing situations.
  • Must have reliable transportation as this role travels across the state of Indiana
