The All-Star Security & Event Services Season Associate will get an all-access pass to the exciting sports & live entertainment industry as we prepare to host 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend right here in Indianapolis! The All-Star Security & Event Services Season Associate will support the Security & Event Services department with event security preparation, management duties during events and several special projects that assist in bringing the best of live entertainment to our guests. The beginning of the associate experience will primarily focus on All-Star activities and preparation. Following the conclusion of a successful All-Star weekend, the associate will continue to support the department and the numerous upcoming events at Gainbridge Fieldhouse!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Security & Event Services department with administrative tasks throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Aid the Fieldhouse Command Center with dispatching and response responsibilities.
  • Assist department with budget reporting.
  • Assist with development, review and revision of department policies and documents.
  • Ideate opportunities for improved customer service.
  • Collaborate with external partner organizations and manage assigned special projects.
  • Participate in event operations through experiences with teams including Security, Ushers, Guest Services, Fire Marshals, EMT, Event Police/K9, etc.
  • Prepare vital employee resources for staff briefings.
  • Attend relevant department and event meetings.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.
