Job Summary:

Warehouse Manager position oversees the storage, organization and tracking of inventory. This position coordinates the logistics of incoming and outgoing product- ie managing vendor shipments, coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely deliveries. By optimizing processes, they contribute to cost control efforts. Warehouse Manager will be dedicated to efficient layout planning, storage optimization to accommodate inventory volume.

Job Functions:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Schedule warehouse staff.
• Oversee receiving operations, checking invoices, entering purchase orders, rotating stock, and reporting inventory.
• Maintain records of inventory transfers.
• Oversee monthly inventory reports.
• Develops training, monitoring, and communication systems in conjunction with Sr. Director of Retail.
• Review current operating procedures and develop, write, and train any necessary new standard operating procedures.
• Assist staff during event days as needed for retail operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage warehouse staff.

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• Minimum 3-4 years warehouse experience required. Applicants must be able to accurately conduct inventory counts, must be able to learn ordering systems, and must be able to learn to predict inventory needs.
• Leadership experience strongly preferred including scheduling, dispatching employees, coaching employees, and training employees.
• Previous experience in large, multiuse entertainment facility preferred.

• Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  This is an exempt (salary) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-70 pounds at a time.
  Must be able to bend, lift, twist, climb, walk up and down stairs, stoop and kneel.
