Job Title: Amateur Hockey Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Amateur Hockey Coordinator is responsible for building, developing, and maintaining a range of hockey and fan development programs both on and off the ice. The ideal candidate will play a key role in growing relationships between rink partners, families, teachers/ educators, and other key partners in the south Florida community.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and logistics of on-ice and off-ice hockey programs, including serving as the primary point of contact for participants.
  • Responsible for managing registration platform for all youth programming.
  • Create, implement and oversee Panthers Kids Fan club using different marketing strategies including game day tabling.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with ice rink owners, operators, and program directors.
  • Work with both current and new community partners to develop strategies to grow the sport of Floorball
  • Coordinate and run Floorball clinics for community organizations.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the business field or recreation management
  • Preferred 1 - 3 years of program and league management experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in organizing and coordinating sports programs, preferably in hockey.
  • Effective communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using software for scheduling, registration, and data management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is an exempt (salary) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
