As the Creative / Social Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing print and digital projects for the Motor City Cruise. In addition, our coordinator will strategy, development and execution of content for all Motor City Cruise social media accounts with a focus on game and lifestyle interests, building social followings and crafting engagements.

What youโ€™ll be doing

  • Crafting print and digital materials for all properties including print ads, collateral pieces, billboards, promotional items, web graphics, advertisements, sponsorship presentations and more.
  • Prepress setup and print production operations.
  • Assist in scripting social post captions that will trigger engagements and conversation.
  • Craft engaging social media captions that foster interaction and conversation.
  • Capture and share behind-the-scenes photos and video clips for real-time social media use, including in-arena content during home games from pregame to postgame.
  • Implement social media promotions and partnership content.
  • Provide real-time updates on all social channels during game nights to enhance storytelling and game engagement.
  • Handle media syndication list for content distribution.
  • Support with social media metrics analyzing and reporting.
  • Monitor social channels and engage in relevant conversations with followers.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of the social space including other G League teams and venues
  • Identify emerging trends and new technologies.
  • Work with creative services to develop seasonal toolkit for gameday assets โ€“ tune-in, starting five, quarter scores, etc.
  • Oversee community management
  • Build/develop and implement sponsorship deliverables across social platforms independently.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning with video and creative teams to support brand development.

What weโ€™re looking for

  • Graphic Design/Visual Communications Marketing, Advertising, Communications degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a social and/or design role is valued.
  • Candidate should possess excellent computer skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Passion for blogging and discovering new technologies that can help grow our brands.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, HTML and web site management and authoring technologies is required.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • The ability to balance brand standards with creativity and innovation.
  • Experience using and publishing content on social media platforms: Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube.
  • Strong attention-to-detail.
  • Ability to multi-task while still maintaining a high level of integrity and creativity.
