Logistics Intern
D.C. United is seeking applicants for a Logistics Internship Position. The candidate will assist with all aspects of college communication and transportation aspects for D.C. United Academy youth players as directed by the Academy Staff. This position will offer the candidate hands-on experience in a high-level collaborative team-sport environment. The candidate will gain an understanding of the daily workings and the environment in elite sports, including the inner dealings of a youth athlete in a professional environment. The candidate will gain a conceptual understanding of long-term athletic development and various performance training methodologies in the sport of soccer. This internship is aimed towards those in a sports management, business, and communication looking to gain experience in elite level soccer. The individual must possess a strong desire to learn and grow. This is an unpaid internship.
Fall season: August 12 – December 13
