Overview:
The White Sox public relations intern is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the organization’s public relations department, enhancing and building the image of the club with proactive earned media efforts. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the Chicago market and sports media landscape and will assist in promoting and executing organizational announcements, community, multicultural and player-led initiatives, ballpark events, marketing campaigns, among other gameday duties. This seasonal position will run from January through October 2025.

The ideal candidate is interested in Chicago media with strong writing, interpersonal and professional skills, such as punctuality, productivity, and troubleshooting. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule with a willingness to staff weekend gamedays and media opportunities. An enthusiasm for baseball and the sports industry is strongly preferred but is not necessarily a requirement. Candidates will enjoy the opportunity to thrive in a team-based environment, actively contributing their strengths to create a collaborative and successful work dynamic.
