The Role
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to successfully prepare and run our training ground's food services whilst adhering to all procedures and policies, including health and safety matters aligned to food service.
You will be fully responsible for the management of Catering Assistants, Porters and casual workers. This includes overseeing all aspects of the Front-of-House team, from daily catering for our colleagues and players to managing commercial events and Academy spectators during games.

Your day-to-day
- Champion excellent service - you’ll liaise with senior colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service to commercial partners whilst researching and implementing continuous improvement to catering services at our facilities
- Take a lead on all management operations - you will proudly line manage the Front-of-House catering team, delegating daily responsibilities producing rotas and coverage for routine and special events
- Drive your teams development - you'll support individuals’ learning and development opportunities by implementing performance reviews, progression and successions plans
- Integrate smooth processes throughout - you will efficiently allocate resources by overseeing budgets and costs, whilst responding swiftly to emergencies as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Proactively support all facilities - you'll enthusiastically hold a consistent presence to support staff and players aiding a good working relationship between the facilities and catering teams, promoting a collaborative environment with support as needed
- Sustain strong relationships across our club - you will diligently deliver clear communication lines with the Head Chef and other departments whilst also assisting the Football Services Manager in meetings and supporting with administrative tasks
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety team - you'll ensure a safe environment for all operations by conducting risk assessments and coordinating with the Health and Safety team, adhering to safety food standards, operating procedures and emergency action plans
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a similar catering environment - you have substantial experience in managing multi onsite catering outlets from fine dining to functions
- Excellent leadership and management skills - you'll have a background within a similar management role demonstrating you can manage working in a team as well as on your own
- Customer focused approach - you can demonstrate excellent customer service management throughout your day to day with strong customer focused and interpersonal skills
- IT skills - you'll have intermediate experience in using Word and Excel
