Job Summary:

The Manager of Corporate Activation will contribute to a year-round business development platform to aggressively fulfill and activate Corporate Partners delivering high level customer service and communication to these partners. This role is responsible for supporting the sales process in the Coyotes Corporates Partnerships department. This includes assisting the sales team on new business opportunities, attending and participating in partner pitches, assisting in creating of recap presentations and assisting in renewal efforts.

This position will be critical in strengthening Corporate Partner relationships and achieving departmental success. This role with work very closely with the ticketing and premium partnerships department to develop and execute client engagement experiences to impactfully enhance retention, new business acquisition and overall revenue optimization objectives. In addition, responsible for maximizing renewal percentages for assigned accounts by providing outstanding customer service to assigned accounts through developing long-term relationships; this is accomplished through interpersonal skills by phone calls, emails, office and event visits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, playing a meaningful role in the renewal process of all assigned accounts, developing increased revenue streams by implementing new and exciting promotional concepts exceeding those outlined in existing agreements. Facilitate the sale of new agreements by collaborating on sales proposals and providing research on potential new partners.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Execute all elements of assigned Corporate Partner accounts with an emphasis towards cross-promotional opportunities.
  • Assemble and distribute precise partner playbooks to all assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with assigned client base.
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date contract and database files on all assigned accounts.
  • Work with our Legal Department in preparing agreements for assigned accounts. Agreements to be distributed and approved as outlined.
  • Participate in the coordination and execution of partner related special events.
  • Create and execute mid-season evaluations and post-season summaries for Corporate Partner accounts.
  • Work event days to execute promotions, visit assigned Corporate Partners and entertain prospects.
  • Work closely with other departments within the organization on Corporate Partner related programs including game entertainment, community impact, public relations, tickets sales, marketing, hockey development, OVG Hospitality and facility operations.
  • Prepare and send correspondences to assigned Corporate Partner accounts.
  • Coordinate research and data analytics to use in sales proposals, recaps and to overall support the sales and fulfillment efforts for the team.
  • Manage miscellaneous administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, business, marketing or related field required.

Experience:

  • Marketing or advertising experience a plus.
  • Sports and entertainment event fulfillment and activation experience
  • Experience working with client accounts and within the sales environment.
  • 2+ seasons/years’ in partnership activation or similar field
