Location: Oracle Park, San Francisco – From the Clubhouse store front

Hourly Rate: $18.25 per/hour

Status: Part-Time/Seasonal

Typical Hours: 1.5 hours before Stadium Opening – Stadium Close (On average, approx. 5-7 hours per shift)

About the Job:

As a Game-Used Retail Sales Associate, you will be working at the From the Clubhouse storefront inside Oracle Park. From the Clubhouse is the only Giants-owned-and-operated retail operation and specializes in the sale of MLB Authenticated Giants Game-Used and Autographed memorabilia. Since opening its doors in 2009, From the Clubhouse has been one of the leading MLB Authentics programs in the industry. Through diligent authentication practices, in-depth knowledge of MLB memorabilia, and unrivaled customer service, we at From the Clubhouse find success in even the toughest baseball seasons. As one of only a few team members you will be expected to wear a number of hats, including but not limited to: register clerk, inventory management, in-game merchandise collection (from the field and clubhouse), and, above all else, customer service. Must be available to work nights and weekends.

About the Role:

  • Provide great service to all customers and maintain a friendly environment to encourage a positive customer experience.
  • Assist customers in finding and selecting items.
  • Assist customers by answering all questions and addressing concerns about the Game Used Product.
  • Restock inventory on a daily basis and help with merchandising
  • Ensure store is properly maintained and organized for next home games.
  • Work with MLB Authenticators to collect merchandise during games
  • Communicate all store needs, customer issues and daily status updates to supervisor(s) and From the Clubhouse
  • Keep track of sold Game Used items.
  • Ring up cash or credit card sales in POS system.
  • Perform opening and closing tasks as dictated.
  • Assist interdepartmental personnel with game-day tasks.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be available to work majority of the Giants home games.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours on weeknights, weekends and holidays according to the Giants home schedule. The store closes when the stadium closes.
  • Must be able to work with a team in a close quarter environment.
  • Positive attitude and knack for customer service
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Ability to a use ladder or step ladder and the ability of going and up and down stairs (where applicable).
  • Must be able to stand/be on your feet for up to 8 hours.
  • Basic knowledge of baseball is required.

At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly rate for this position will be $18.25 / hour

In addition to your pay, the San Francisco Giants believe in providing a competitive total rewards package for its employees.
