Receptionist (Full-Time Temporary)

The Receptionist is a key part of the Administration team, often as the first interaction, via phone or in
person, our guests have with the National Hockey League. Along with representing our company
culture, the Receptionist, if asked, will assist with other administrative duties. This is a 3 month assignment, the hours will be 8:30am to 4:30pm.


  • Manage the visitor system and register visitors when requested
  • Distribute new hire IDs to new staff members on their first day
  • Greet NHL guests with a welcoming and helpful demeanor
  • Answer a large volume of incoming phone calls, providing appropriate information/directing
    calls to appropriate party
  • Maintain the general appearance of the Reception Area
  • Provide administrative/clerical assistance when needed

Knowledge Areas/Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years work experience in hospitality, administration or relevant industry, understanding the importance of “first impressions”
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office and telephone systems


  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred

$16-18 per hour

Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
