POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position serves as the face of Nashville Soccer Club in-game presentation during all home matches in the stadium. In this role, you will use your soccer and sports knowledge to drive fan engagement and make an impact on game days. The host will be on camera throughout the match to execute live promotions, interact with fans, and introduce live entertainment during pregame and halftime. The best candidate for this position must be energetic, positive, and polished. In this role, you must be able to memorize and accurately recite scripts while also demonstrating quick thinking and the ability to adapt to change on the fly. Previous experience on-camera is strongly encouraged.

Candidates will work to provide a world-class and inclusive experience to all GEODIS Park guests, employees, performers, and clients. Position reports to the Entertainment Manager and Director of Marketing, and is based in Nashville, TN.

Opportunities & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate fan, sponsorship, community, and entertainment activations at GEODIS Park during pregame, halftime, and postgame
  • Present in-stadium features including sponsored presentation blocks, fan interactions, live entertainment, mascot activities, etc.
  • Adapt to live game changes effortlessly and foster spontaneous moments to maintain an upbeat, entertaining atmosphere
  • Engage with fans and create energy
  • Assist leadership with ideating for scripts and promotions
  • Narrate social features as needed by the Club
  • Demonstrate an upbeat personality and strong on-camera presence to connect with fans, performers, players, and celebrity guests

Required skills, experience & abilities

  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude are required
  • Ability to engage and discern appropriate fans to engage with
  • Must be available for all Nashville Soccer Club home games
  • Desire to work in team-oriented environment
  • Ability to adapt in high-pressure situations and can handle multiple tasks at once with little supervision
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Experience announcing, reporting, or hosting is strongly recommended
