SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of key projects and strategic initiatives throughout the NFL calendar year. This role will also support the onboarding and training for our project management system, Wrike.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization, with a focus on time management and efficient project delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Lead onboarding and training for Wrike, collaborating with the Project Management Team on platform enhancements.
  • Create and maintain project schedules in Wrike, including meetings, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and documentation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather and execute project requirements, ensuring alignment with KPIs for key events (e.g., NFL Draft, Training Camp) and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and issues, propose solutions, and drive resolution.
  • Manage expectations and build relationships across teams, identifying key decision-makers.
  • Proactively remove barriers to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and leadership to ensure project success.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • 2+ years as a Project Manager
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (i.e. Wrike), and project management methodologies
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify challenges, develop effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information, collaborate with team members, and interact with clients or stakeholders at all levels.
