The Role


We are looking for a Product Development Manager to lead the development and execution of innovative product strategies that drive engagement and ensure they meet the needs of our supporters and drive our commercial revenue growth.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires curiosity, enthusiasm, and the confidence to challenge the status quo. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business owners, designers, developers, and senior stakeholders. Delivering digital products on time within budget and to the highest quality.

Your day-to-day


  • Drive innovative product creation - you'll develop and implement product strategies that align with our objectives, keeping supporters at the core of your decisions
  • Own the product lifecycle - you will take charge from idea generation to product launch, ensuring each stage adds measurable value
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders - you'll partner with teams to define requirements, prioritise features, create roadmaps, and promote digital products effectively
  • Oversee design planning - you'll manage the development of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to ensure a smooth supporter experience
  • Lead development and testing - you will deliver products that meet supporter needs, maintaining timelines and budget
  • Conduct insightful research - you'll analyse competitor landscapes and gather supporter feedback to guide product evolution
  • Stay ahead of trends - you will monitor industry advancements, sharing insights with the wider team to maintain best-in-class practices

  • Experience in product development - you have a proactive approach to requirements gathering, backlog prioritisation, and leading products from concept to launch
  • Digitally fluent - you possess a proven expertise in digital media within a sports focused environment
  • Agile expert - you have a solid understanding of agile frameworks and methodologies
  • Dynamic communicator - you have exceptional skills in managing and influencing senior stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Research driven mindset - you possess the ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative market research and focus groups
  • Clear communicator - you're adept at translating technical requirements for non-technical audiences
  • True team player - you work effectively with others, supporting and guiding team members to deliver high-quality work and achieve shared goals
