Job Description

MLSE Digital Labs seeks a highly motivated Integration Engineer to join the Digital Labs team. The Integrations Engineer will be primarily working on business-focused integrations and will be working with the Manager of Data Solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy data and application integration solutions using modern DevOps practices using Informatica Cloud IICS.

  • Work on building data ingestion pipelines to ingest data from API’s, Databases, Web Services, Files, and Streams.

  • Support and maintain all existing integrations.

  • Contribute to the vision for the team and the platform as a technical leader, identifying new and strategic technologies that improve security, scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Establish standards and maintain a department-wide body of knowledge on Integration engineering.

  • Participates in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives.

  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to help them grow

  • Partner with other teams like infrastructure and CRM management teams to define technical strategy, and efficient integration within the existing landscape.

  • Provides high-level sizing estimates of new development work.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Informatica Cloud IICS, specifically Application (CAI), Data (CDI) Integration, and Mass Ingestion.

  • Experienced knowledge of Web Services, XML technologies, XQuery, SOA, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.

  • Competent understanding of RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL, WebSocket services.

  • Experience integrating data from various business systems, such as POS, ERP, and Salesforce.

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Golang, C#.

  • Astute with new and emerging technologies and technical approaches.

  • Knowledge of software engineering practices for SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Shown ability to take a project from prioritization requirements through to the actual launch of the project.

  • Consistent track record in developing innovative ways too sophisticated design problems.
